She has also helped expanding national clients, focusing on the tax aspects of conducting business overseas.

Kristy Baxter

Kristy Baxter has more than 25 years’ experience in accounting. She advises businesses on tax planning strategies, budgeting and cash flow forecasting, asset protection, financial accounts analysis and business planning and structuring.

Kristy co-heads Pilot’s Medical Services team. She is familiar with the challenges that are unique to medical professionals and provides them with structuring, tax planning strategies, asset protection advice and cash flow management services.

Kristy is a regular speaker at various industry conferences and events and has published a range of articles online and in professional publications.

Julie Bennett

Julie has experience in the preparation and analysis of financial accounts, preparation of income tax returns, restructuring of businesses including acquisition and sale, business superannuation, statutory compliance and tax planning. She works with clients across a diverse range of industries.

Julie provides pro bono advisory services as a director on the board of Emmanuel College, University of Queensland.

Josh Meggs

Josh assists clients implement innovative taxation strategies that help them achieve their broader goals and objectives. Josh is knowledgeable in all aspects of Australian federal taxation advisory. He is able to advise on establishing and running businesses as well as various tax incentives that help clients restructure their affairs in preparation for sale or succession.

Josh advises many foreign controlled businesses on their Australian operations, cross border transactions, expatriate taxation issues and other international taxation matters. His expertise ensures that they are well placed to capitalise on global taxation and cross border opportunities. He is also able to advise on Australia’s R&D tax concessions and effective succession and estate planning strategies.

Josh is currently establishing a charity to help those who are suffering from financial distress, through the provision of financial literacy education. He also undertakes pro bono taxation advisory services for Youngcare.

Jennifer Veitch
